Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an Automation Engineer for a 3+ month contract in Amsterdam to drive standardization and automation across IT operations. You will design and implement automated solutions focusing on network infrastructure and security, collaborating with operations, engineering and security teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Ansible and/or Python, plus strong knowledge of IaC and automation best practices.

Qualifications

Experience as an Automation Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Automation Engineer.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security technologies.
Hands-on experience with Ansible and/or Python.
Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management and orchestration.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
An automation-first mindset with a focus on standardization and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively across operations, engineering and security teams.
Proactive, communicative and able to quickly learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement automation solutions across IT infrastructure and operations.
Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and reduce operational risk.
Develop and maintain automation and orchestration solutions using Ansible and Python.
Drive standardization and create scalable, repeatable solutions.
Apply Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices.
Translate business and technical requirements into automated workflows and infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with network, security and engineering teams.
Continuously improve processes, tooling and operational efficiency.
