Job summary

ING in Amsterdam is seeking an Audit Manager to lead complex audits covering Market Risk Management and Treasury across ING’s global organisation. You will assess end-to-end risk processes, governance, controls and regulatory compliance, and translate technical observations into clear audit messages.

You are an experienced professional with strong analytical and communication skills, able to work in international teams and travel for international audits as required. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Academic degree, preferably with a professional qualification (FRM, CFA, PRM, CIA or equivalent).
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Experience in market risk management and/or internal audit within a major bank or consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Leading audits across Market Risk Management, Treasury and related financial risks.
• Assess end-to-end risk processes, governance, controls, models and MI.
• Review design and operating effectiveness of controls over risk management.
• Identify key risks, define scope, develop audit tests and findings.
• Challenge management constructively and communicate outcomes clearly.
• Share specialist knowledge and coach audit colleagues.
• Contribute to audit planning and development of CAS expertise in market risk.
