Job summary

Nefab Packaging Netherlands is seeking a Compliance Officer to strengthen governance and audit readiness. You will coordinate internal audits, support external audits, and handle customer inquiries, ensuring compliance with laws, standards and internal policies.

You will collaborate across Quality, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain and HR to deliver accurate, timely compliance information and drive continuous improvement in our processes. English proficiency is essential; Dutch is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law, Business Administration, Quality Management or related field.
• Proven experience in compliance, audit coordination, quality assurance or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of audit processes, regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, auditors and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow-up actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with audit management or compliance software is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions.
• Professional working proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute internal compliance audits across departments.
• Support and facilitate external audits by customers, cert bodies and regulators.
• Prepare audit reports, document findings and monitor corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain the audit schedule and ensure timelines are met.
• Act as primary contact for customer questions on compliance and audits.
• Provide clear compliance information and audit results to customers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required information.
• Monitor adherence to internal policies, regs and industry standards.
• Support maintenance and improvement of compliance manuals and procedures.
• Contribute to training and awareness initiatives for a culture of compliance.
• Identify risks, gaps and improvements and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Stay informed on regulatory developments and best practices.
• Support management with compliance initiatives and corrective actions.
