Job summary

Supermicro is looking for an Associate Product Manager – Key Components to drive product strategy, market positioning, and business growth across the EMEA region. The role is responsible for managing the product lifecycle, demand forecasting, stock planning, and go-to-market initiatives while collaborating closely with headquarters, sales teams, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in IT product management, business development, purchasing and planning related working experience.
  • Knowledge of server/data center hardware and B2B business models preferred.
  • Experienced in MRP/ ERP/ SAP and supply chain management.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Language skills: Professional fluency in English and Chinese (Listening, speaking, reading, writing).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills for promoting products.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to drive business development and product management.
  • Stress resistant. Able to work under pressure & challenges.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and drive product positioning.
  • Guide the product life cycle and product line roadmap, shaping go-to-market strategies at each stage.
  • Lead stock planning and execution, ensuring strong product launch and adoption, maximizing order fulfilment.
  • Alignment with Supermicro headquarter to develop suitable market and product strategy for EMEA region.
  • Analize customer demand, forecast and engage potential opportunities early to turn quotations into revenue.
  • Demand of Backlog and Forecast management based on MRP/SAP to optimize supply matrix and stock level.
  • Provide product promotion events and/or training for internal sales teams and external partners to increase product/brand visibility.
  • Build up and maintain relationships with external vendors, Supermicro Global sites and conduct necessary negotiations for better resource availability or allocation.
