Job summary

Qualifications

  • Effective communication in English; experience with ERP/MES and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve assigned manufacturing processes and equipment.

What You'll Do
Own and Improve Manufacturing Processes
  • Become the technical owner for assigned manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
  • Analyze process performance and transform data into actionable improvements.
  • Solve complex technical challenges using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Champion sustainable solutions that prevent recurring issues and drive long-term results.
  • Serve as a trusted technical partner to Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
Lead Continuous Improvement
  • Seek opportunities to make processes faster, more reliable, and more efficient.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence principles to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Lead improvement projects that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to strategic site initiatives and future manufacturing capabilities.
Bring New Technology to Life
  • Support the introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Participate in qualification, validation, commissioning, and process verification activities.
  • Help build robust, scalable manufacturing processes that support future growth.
  • Develop training materials and share technical expertise with manufacturing teams.
Drive Equipment Reliability
  • Collaborate with Maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Support preventive maintenance optimization and equipment lifecycle planning.
  • Identify innovative solutions that improve asset reliability and operational effectiveness.
Ensure Quality and Compliance
  • Help maintain manufacturing processes in a validated and compliant state.
  • Support investigations, root cause analyses, CAPAs, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct process reviews and risk assessments to see opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain inspection-ready documentation and support regulatory compliance activities.
Foster a Safe and Sustainable Workplace
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and care.
  • Actively identify and address opportunities to improve workplace safety and sustainability.
  • Support Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or related field).
  • 0-3 years of experience within engineering, manufacturing, process improvement, or technical operations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES).
Preferred
  • Experience within Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of process validation, GMP environments, and risk management techniques.
  • Familiarity with automation, manufacturing technology, and equipment systems.
  • Dutch language proficiency.
  • VCA certification or willingness to obtain certification.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€44.700,00 - €70.840,00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
