As a Maintenance System and Excellence Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening maintenance execution, system compliance, and equipment reliability across the site. You will own how maintenance systems, data, and processes are applied—ensuring they support safe, compliant, and reliable operations in a regulated medical‑device manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will lead the effective use of the eCMMS (Maximo), partner closely with Line and Process Engineers, and translate data and insights into practical, department‑specific maintenance strategies. You will also act as the Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audits, helping ensure maintenance practices are clear, consistent, and inspection‑ready.

Own and continuously improve the standardized use of the eCMMS (Maximo) across Maintenance.
Ensure maintenance work orders are complete, accurate, and closed with high‑quality technical feedback.
Support teams in using maintenance data to improve planning, decision‑making, and reliability outcomes.
Train and coach Maintenance and Engineering teams on effective system usage and data discipline.
Help ensure Maintenance activities meet GMP, Quality Management System, EHS, and company standards.
Drive execution and follow‑up of Maintenance‑related quality actions, including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
Act as the Maintenance Audit SME, supporting internal audits, corporate assessments, and external inspections.
Maintain clear and up‑to‑date documentation for maintenance processes, procedures, and equipment history.
Analyze maintenance and equipment data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Partner with Line and Process Engineers to design and execute fit‑for‑purpose maintenance programs for each department.
Improve Preventive Maintenance effectiveness and support structured learning from breakdowns.
Communicate risks, insights, and opportunities clearly to site stakeholders and leadership.
Actively promote safe ways of working and compliance with environmental and occupational health requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Maintenance and Engineering.
Support site‑level maintenance excellence and reliability maturity initiatives (e.g., JJOS or similar operating systems).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science discipline (required).
Master’s degree in Engineering is a plus.
2–5 years of experience in Maintenance, Engineering, or Reliability roles within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar).
Hands‑on experience with eCMMS systems and maintenance data analysis.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and audit environments.
Comfortable working cross‑functionally and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
