We are looking for two passionate and motivated Assistant Threatened Species Officers to support the delivery of regional threatened species programmes and help achieve key objectives in conservation, biodiversity management, community engagement and customer service.
To be successful, you will need experience in biodiversity conservation, be proficient with technology and managing datasets, and have an organized approach to achieving work outcomes. You are a proactive and reliable professional who enjoys working in field environments, including remote areas. You are confident in making decisions within your delegated authority, take accountability for delivering assigned tasks to a high standard, work effectively under supervision, seek guidance on complex issues and know when to escalates matters requiring higher-level input. Your ability to follow direction, manage priorities and contribute to team goals makes you a valuable and dependable team member.
