We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Health & Safety Advisor to join our Health & Safety Team. Working closely with managers, staff and representative bodies, you will help develop and maintain an effective health and safety management system across Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service. You will provide professional advice and support, contribute to audits and investigations, develop policies and training, and help promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to influence health and safety practices across a diverse operational and support workforce while helping to ensure the wellbeing of our employees and the communities we serve.
You will hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) and have experience working in a health and safety advisory role.

Salary: £34,434 - £35,412
Locations: Penrith Headquarters, with travel throughout Cumbria.
Hours: 37 hours per week. We offer flexible working opportunities, including part-time arrangements, which can be discussed at interview.
