Arvato in Heijen (Gennep) is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment. You’ll lead a team of 20–30, coach staff, and optimize workflows to hit daily goals while driving safety and quality.

You’ll report to the Supervisor and partner with cross‑functional teams in a tech‑driven logistics operation, focusing on continuous improvement, KPI monitoring, and people development. This role offers growth and real impact.

Qualifications

• MBO level education or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in logistics
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus
• Strong coordination skills and ability to maintain overview

• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operation across three shifts

YOUR ROLE

As an Assistant Supervisor, you are co-responsible for the daily warehouse operation. You ensure processes run smoothly and that your team clearly understands the daily goals and priorities.

You will manage a team of 20 to 30 warehouse employees, including pickers, packers and line leads, and report directly to the Supervisor.

Your responsibilities include:

Coordinating daily warehouse activities on the floor

Coaching, guiding and motivating team members and line leads

Creating daily workforce planning based on volumes and staffing

Monitoring KPIs such as productivity and quality

Identifying bottlenecks and taking action when needed

Contributing to continuous improvement of warehouse processes

Ensuring a safe, structured and efficient working environment

YOUR PROFILE

You work in a dynamic environment where volumes and priorities can change quickly. This makes your role varied and challenging and requires you to maintain a clear overview of the operation.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Assistant Supervisor who wants to grow within a dynamic logistics environment.

MBO level of education or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within logistics

Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus

Strong coordination skills and the ability to maintain overview

Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility

YOU are flexible and willing to work in a 24/7 operation, 7 days a week across three shifts.
