Job summary

Dr. Martens Roermond Outlet is seeking an engaging Assistant Store Manager to lead a diverse team and deliver outstanding commercial results.

You will partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards of customer experience on the shop floor. Success comes from motivating the team, driving performance, and ensuring the store runs smoothly with strong health & safety and stock control.

Qualifications

Experience coaching retail teams in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence balancing consumer experience, operational standards and commercial performance.
Strong organisation and attention to detail across stock, compliance and daily store operations.
Ability to analyse performance, identify opportunities and translate plans into action.
Energy, resilience and adaptability during busy trading periods.
A passion for the Dr. Martens brand and the people who bring it to life.
Good IT skills – confident to use Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

Take day-to-day retail operations to company expectations (Coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising and administration).
Assume complete responsibility of the store and team in absence of the Store Manager.
Take responsibility for health and safety and security issues within the store.
Achieve set KPI's (Sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget.
Lead and implement high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through coaching.
Ensure stock management procedures are followed including stock take, deliveries, loss prevention actions, etc.
Work closely with the Store Manager to take commercial decisions for the store.

SO WHATS THE STORY - Assistant Store Manager - Roermond Outlet

We are looking for an engaging, inspirational Assistant Store Manager to help lead the diverse team at our Roermond Outlet store.

Our Assistant Store Manager works in close partnership with the Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver outstanding commercial results. Leading from the shop floor, you'll help create an environment where consumers receive a great experience, colleagues can thrive, and operational standards remain strong, even during our busiest trading periods. You'll play a key role in developing others, driving performance and ensuring the store is set up for success every day.

Outlet retail is different. Success comes from creating great consumer experiences whilst managing high transaction volumes, fast stock movement and ever-changing trading demands. We're looking for leaders who thrive in a busy environment and know how to keep teams focused, engaged and delivering results.

THE GIG

Take responsibility of day-to-day retail operations to company expectations (Coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising and administration)
Assume complete responsibility of the store & team in absence of the Store Manager
Take responsibility for health & safety and security issues within the store.
Achieve set KPI's (i.e. Sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget
Leading and implementing high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through a coaching approach to create a seamless and consistent customer experience.
Ensuring appropriate stock management procedures are followed including stock take, process deliveries, loss prevention actions etc.
Work closely with your Store Manager to take commercial decisions for your store in line with our business objectives.
