Job summary

Dr. Martens Roermond Outlet is seeking an engaging Assistant Store Manager to lead a diverse team and deliver outstanding commercial results.

You will partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards of customer experience on the shop floor. Success comes from motivating the team, driving performance, and ensuring the store runs smoothly with strong health & safety and stock control.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching retail teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence balancing consumer experience, operational standards and commercial performance.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail across stock, compliance and daily store operations.
• Ability to analyse performance, identify opportunities and translate plans into action.
• Energy, resilience and adaptability during busy trading periods.
• A passion for the Dr. Martens brand and the people who bring it to life.
• Good IT skills – confident to use Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day retail operations to company expectations (Coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising and administration).
• Assume complete responsibility of the store and team in absence of the Store Manager.
• Take responsibility for health and safety and security issues within the store.
• Achieve set KPI's (Sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget.
• Lead and implement high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through coaching.
• Ensure stock management procedures are followed including stock take, deliveries, loss prevention actions, etc.
• Work closely with the Store Manager to take commercial decisions for the store.
