Job summary

MR MARVIS is seeking a Style Advisor to welcome customers, provide expert styling tips, and guide them through product choices in our Amsterdam-based fashion environment.

You will help customers feel valued, offer personalized recommendations, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere, with a strong focus on service, presentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, energetic and commercially minded, as well as patient, flexible, and presentable.
• A good communicator who can genuinely listen to the customer.
• Customer oriented and passionate about styling; open to suggesting alternative products.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a warm first impression; inform them about the brand and store concept.
• Advise customers on products, quality, heritage and size selection with confidence.
• Provide expert styling tips and ensure customers find the right sizes and pieces.
• Elevate the shopping experience by offering extras like tailoring pins or beverages.
• Keep the store looking its best inside and out.

About the job

As a Style Advisor at MR MARVIS, you help customers find their perfect (out)fit. With your eye for detail and personal approach, you offer tailored styling advice while creating a warm, inspiring atmosphere that makes every visitor feel welcome and well taken care of.

What’s on a typical to-do list:

• Creating a great first impression by welcoming customers, engaging with them, informing them about our brand and store concept, and inspiring them to explore our collection;

• Advising customers on products, quality, heritage and size selection. You are knowledgeable and exude confidence;

• Providing expert advice with confidence and pride. This includes finding the right sizes for customers, and offering inspiring styling tips as a complimentary service.

• Going the extra mile to elevate the customer’s shopping experience — whether that’s pinning long trousers for tailoring or offering a coffee or refreshment.

• Ensuring the store always looks its best – inside and out.

• Interested in Fashion and Retail and enthusiastic about MR MARVIS (experience in a service-oriented industry such as hospitality or retail is a plus)?

• Fluent in both Dutch and English?
