Eindhoven University of Technology is seeking an Assistant Professor to advance low-power secure computer architectures for edge devices. You will conduct high-impact research, teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in English, and supervise a diverse set of candidates across programs.

You will also contribute to cross-disciplinary initiatives like the Beethoven program to attract top talent. The role sits within the Electronic Systems group in the Electrical Engineering department,

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Architecture or Embedded Systems or comparable domain.
• Strong national and international collaborations with projects or publications.
• Experience managing professionals and fostering development.
• Excellent teaching skills at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Experience securing external research funding.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research on smart electronic systems.
• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English.
• Supervise Bachelor, Master, EngD and PhD candidates.
• Support the Beethoven program to educate top talent and strengthen research.
