Job summary

Bertelsmann Netherlands is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join the Shared Service Center in Gennep. You will oversee financial administration for one or more entities, ensuring accuracy of data, meaningful reporting, and ongoing process improvement.

You will work with SAP daily, collaborate with a team of finance professionals, and report to the Manager Business Administration. The role combines accounting, reporting and taxation responsibilities across diverse entities within the

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in financial administration or accounting.
• Proficient in MS Excel; SAP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Dutch tax legislation and regulations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and month/quarter/year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyse management reports and statutory statements.
• Ensure tax compliance under Dutch law.
• Identify process improvements and optimize financial workflows.
