Job summary

Neways Cable & Wire Solutions (NCWS) Echt is seeking an Assistant Controller to ensure reliable financial administration, up-to-date records, and auditable processes. You will handle journal entries, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations, while contributing to IFRS-compliant reporting and internal controls.

You will join a close-knit finance team, collaborate with auditors, and drive digitalisation and standardisation of processes.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO degree in Finance, Accounting, or comparable field.
• At least 3 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and compliance procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Experience with VAT returns; CBS filings is a plus.
• Fluent Dutch and English; 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and provisions.
• Support month-end closings and reporting for management.
• Produce balance sheet specifications and P&L overviews.
• Prepare audit documentation and support internal controls.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and VAT/CBS filings.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments on inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to digitalise and optimise processes.
