karriere.at in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee an international portfolio of office, retail and logistic properties. You will select and manage service providers across Europe, negotiate leases, and support major tenants while driving sustainable strategies and value creation.

The role requires several years in real estate asset management, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Dutch (German a plus).

Qualifications

• Completed studies in business administration and/or commercial training with real estate qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in real estate; asset management knowledge is a plus.
• High level of entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, and openness to cross-cultural collaboration.
• Confident appearance, assertiveness and negotiation skills.
• Good command of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Very good English and Dutch language skills; German a plus.
• Willingness to travel.

Your responsibilities

• Management of commercial properties (international) with a focus on office, retail and logistic properties
• Selection and management of service providers - in particular commercial and technical property management in Germany and abroad as well as development and maintenance of a corresponding network
• Management of letting processes - active involvement in lease negotiations
• Active support of major tenants
• Development and implementation of sustainable property strategies incl. ESG criteria
• Taking over the role of building owner in expansion and modernization measures
• Ongoing identification of cost drivers and yield-reducing factors as well as development and implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions
• Ongoing property valuation (DCF), yield and profitability calculations, reconciliation of forecast and budget planning
• Preparation of budgets and business plans, reporting and controlling for the assigned portfolio

We are looking for

• Completed studies in business administration and/or commercial training with additional real estate qualification (e.g. real estate economist)
• Several years of professional experience in the real estate industry; ideally complemented by relevant knowledge in asset management for European portfolio properties
• High level of entrepreneurial thinking, ability to work in a team and openness to work with other cultures
• Confident appearance, assertiveness and negotiating skills
• General understanding of fund accounting processes and requests
• Very good MS Office skills (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• A very good command of English and Dutch, both written and spoken, German language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel
