Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is seeking an Asset Assistant for the Centre Management team at Westfield Mall of the Netherlands in Amstelveen. You will support the General Manager and colleagues across operations, marketing and tenants to ensure smooth day-to-day running and a positive visitor experience.

The role offers exposure to reporting, centre projects, and customer touchpoints, with a focus on organisation, data, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years in customer service, retail, hospitality, reception or office administration.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English and Dutch is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support General Manager and Centre Management with day-to-day priorities, meetings, events and long-term projects.
  • Coordinate tenant communications and ensure information is shared clearly via email, reception and URW Connect.
  • Gather and analyse information for reporting on centre performance and customer experience.
  • Assist with customer enquiries and feedback, improving the customer journey and wayfinding.

Want to be part of something people experience every day?We’re looking for an Asset Assistant to join our Centre Management team in Westfield Mall of the Netherlands.This is a great opportunity to play an important role in the day-to-day operation of a busy shopping centre, supporting everything from customer experience and tenant communication to reporting, projects and community initiatives.You’ll be close to the action, working with Centre Management, Operations, Marketing, tenants, suppliers and customer-facing teams. Your work will help ensure the centre runs smoothly and that everyone who visits, works or operates a business here has a positive experience.If you enjoy variety, take pride in keeping things organised and like being the person who helps make things happen, we’d love to hear from you.Why this role mattersThe Asset Assistant is at the heart of the Centre Management team, helping to connect people, information and activity across the centre.You’ll support the General Manager and wider team in delivering the centre’s business plan, customer experience priorities and community commitments. From coordinating tenant communications and preparing performance reports to supporting centre projects and maintaining customer touchpoints, your contribution will be visible across the asset.This is a varied role where no two days are likely to be the same. It offers the opportunity to develop broad experience across shopping centre operations, customer experience, marketing, data and project coordination.What you’ll be getting involved inNo two days will look exactly the same, but you’ll spend your time:Supporting the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Centre Management team with day-to-day priorities, meetings, presentations, events and longer-term projectsActing as a key point of contact for tenants, helping to answer operational queries and ensuring information is shared clearly through email, reception and URW ConnectCoordinating customer enquiries and feedback, working with our partners to make sure complaints and requests are handled professionally and followed throughHelping improve the customer journey across the centre, including signage, digital screens, maps and wayfindingSupporting preparations for customer experience assessments, quality audits, surveys and mystery shoppingMonitoring customer experience measures and feedback trends, helping the team identify practical opportunities for improvementCoordinating the administrative elements of tenant move-ins and move-outs, working with Construction, Operations and Marketing colleaguesMaintaining key centre information across internal systems, the website, URW Connect and operational documentsManaging the collection of sales information and supporting footfall and centre performance reportingGathering and analysing information from systems such as Digiez, Sprinklr, MyData Portal and MercuryPreparing clear reports, presentations and updates for internal and external stakeholdersHelping to maintain a safe, sustainable, organised and welcoming Centre Management officeCoordinating with Guest Services, Reception, cleaning, maintenance, parking and other supplier teamsManaging office expenditure, including raising and tracking purchase ordersSupporting marketing activity, events, content collection and collaboration with agencies and community partnersTaking ownership of smaller centre projects, seasonal initiatives and local collaborationsSupporting alignment and information sharing between the centre, other Amstelveen teams and the wider businessIdentifying recurring issues and working with colleagues to find effective, longer-term solutionsParticipating in the Duty Management rota when requiredWhat we’re looking forWe’re not looking for someone who ticks every single box.
