Job summary

Wefabricate in the Netherlands is seeking a Process Owner Assembly to own the end-to-end assembly process and drive 1–3 year growth. You’ll stay close to operations, remove bottlenecks, and work with the Team Coordinator and engineers to raise standards and enable a more autonomous, self-steering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes and techniques in a technical production environment.
• Experience with process optimization and improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Own the assembly process end to end and guide its development.
• Build a clear vision for assembly and translate it into concrete steps for the next 1–3 years.
• Spot bottlenecks and risks early, solving them with operations.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and similar methods.
• Translate floor signals into practical, future‑proof solutions.
• Maintain and professionalize assembly standards.
• Collaborate with Team Coordinator and engineers to keep moving forward.
• Apply new assembly techniques to handle more complex products.
• Pursue automation and a scalable, autonomous team.
