Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Check whether supplied semi-finished products have the correct external characteristics and comply with the specification
  • Collect auxiliary, assembly and packaging materials
  • Gathering tools. Execution / control - Adhere to the quality requirements set for the execution of the assembly process
  • Monitoring and reporting of own production progress
  • Reading and interpreting weekly lists, work instructions, customer order packing slips, drawings, etc.
  • Carrying out work on the basis of work orders and/or drawings
  • Testing and final inspection of the products
  • Completing test reports correctly and completely
  • Adhere to the assembly instructions and agreements made in this regard
  • Compliance with operating, maintenance and safety regulations.
  • Inventory of stocks
  • All other activities necessary for the proper performance of the function and to promote the interests of the organization.
  • Contribute to departmental consultation

What are you going to do?

In this role as Assembly Employee you are responsible for the mechanical assembly of semi‑finished products into a final product. You assemble dock levellers and spare parts, among other things. You work closely with other team members to finish the dock levellers on time according to the planning.

  • Check whether supplied semi‑finished products have the correct external characteristics and comply with the specification
  • Collect auxiliary, assembly and packaging materials
