Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an AI Engineer to lead design, development and deployment of scalable AI solutions using the Microsoft AI stack. You will work with clients across construction, engineering and real estate to translate complex challenges into production-ready AI applications that deliver measurable results.

This hands-on leadership role blends AI engineering, solution architecture and client engagement, taking ownership from concept to adoption and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an AI Engineer or similar AI-focused role.
• Proven experience designing and building AI solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based AI services.

Job description

AI is everywhere, but the real value comes when solutions move beyond pilots and become an integral part of an organisation.

My clients are looking for a AI Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of scalable AI solutions using the Microsoft AI stack. You’ll work closely with clients across construction, engineering and real estate, helping them turn complex business challenges into production-ready AI applications that deliver measurable results.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining AI engineering, solution architecture and client engagement. You’ll take ownership from initial concept through to deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.

The role-

• Lead AI projects from discovery and strategy through to production and deployment.
• Design, build and implement end-to-end AI solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and high-performing technical architectures.
• Work with Microsoft Azure and modern AI services to develop production-ready solutions.
• Explore and implement generative AI, LLMs and intelligent automation where they create genuine business value.
• Collaborate directly with clients, consultants, engineers and business stakeholders.
• Mentor colleagues, guide technical decisions and help project teams deliver high-quality results.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI into business processes and drive long-term adoption.

The technology focus

You’ll work primarily within the Microsoft AI ecosystem, with opportunities to apply technologies such as:

• Azure OpenAI Service and large language models
• Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
• Microsoft AI and data platform technologies
• APIs, integrations and cloud-native AI architecture
• Generative AI, RAG architectures and AI-powered automation

The focus is on building practical, scalable solutions that move beyond experimentation and deliver value in real-world environments.

What they need?

• At least 3 years of experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar AI-focused technical role.
• Proven experience designing and building AI solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based AI services.
• Strong understanding of AI architecture, deployment, performance and scalability.
• Experience leading technical projects or guiding engineering teams.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
