Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, drinks, retail or field sales is advantageous.

• Full driving licence is required to cover Breda/Tilburg territory.

Responsibilities

• Maximise availability and ensure products are consistently well represented in-store.

• Work closely with distributor sales teams, providing support, product knowledge, and joint business opportunities where appropriate.
• Provide regular market feedback, competitor insights, and customer intelligence to support business decisions.
• Manage territory planning, reporting, and administration to a high standard.

The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with a leading global drinks business as they continue to invest in their commercial team across the Netherlands.

We're looking for an ambitious, energetic Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the Breda/Tilburg territory, driving sales growth and building strong partnerships across the independent retail channel.

This is far more than a traditional sales role. You'll have full ownership of your territory, identifying new opportunities, developing existing customer relationships, and ensuring the brand stands out in-store. From increasing distribution and visibility to securing additional space and delivering impactful activations, you'll play a key role in growing market share.

About You

• Previous experience within FMCG, drinks, retail, or field sales would be advantageous.


• Alternatively, you may have experience in retail, convenience, hospitality, or wholesale and be looking to move into your first field-based sales role.


• A confident relationship builder with strong communication and influencing skills.


• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.


• Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own territory.


• Resilient, driven, and motivated by achieving targets and delivering results.


• Full driving licence required.
