Job summary
PlayCore in the Netherlands seeks an Architectural CAD Engineer to join our design team. The role focuses on SIP panel layouts, walls, roofs and floors that meet Porter SIPs standards, and on producing production and installation drawings in CAD to support manufacturing.
You will generate BOMs, provide pricing for estimating, and collaborate with engineers on structural layouts. The ideal candidate holds an architectural degree with 3D modeling experience and proficiency in ERP and drafting
Qualifications
- Architectural degree required; 3D modeling and submittal drawings experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans.
- Experience with Dietrich and estimating tools; EPICOR ERP familiarity.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Responsibilities
- Input SIP panels for design layouts per Porter SIPs standards.
- Design walls, roofs and floors for structural and non-structural elements.
- Prepare preliminary engineering and submittal drawings.
- Produce CAD drawings to support manufacturing.
- Create BOMs and enter data into ERP.
- Prepare installation drawings for job sites.
- Assist training and skill development when required.
- Provide pricing for estimating using PDF tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
