Job summary
Barry-Wehmiller is seeking an Applications Engineer Sales, New Equipment and Retrofits for Alliance Europe based in Bladel, Netherlands. The role focuses on evaluating customer applications, preparing layouts and quotations, and supporting order fulfilment with strong AutoCAD skills and ERP/CRM experience.
You will collaborate with the Sales team, translate technical specs into actionable layouts, and support retrofit projects while ensuring safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in applications engineering or similar role.
- Expert in AutoCAD and able to translate customer specs into layouts.
- Fluent in Dutch and English with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems and CE safety regulations.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales to evaluate customer applications and prepare layouts.
- Create floor plans, cost estimates, price quotations and respond to RFQs.
- Advise on technical choices and safety within layouts.
- Translate customer specs into AMSE product and project layouts.
- Support Field Service during installation and review packages for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Service and Engineering on retrofit quotes and orders.
