Job summary

Lely is seeking a Digital Operations Center Specialist in the Netherlands (Maassluis) to bridge field operations and product development for our digital products including Lely Horizon. The role is part of the DOC team responsible for secure, reliable digital solutions and requires a proactive, collaborative mindset.

You will join a global team, offering growth through Lely Academy and a hybrid work model with on-campus days and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level working and thinking ability in a technical or IT-related field.
• At least 3 years of IT-focused experience in application support.
• Experience with SQL database systems.
• Proactive approach and an open, collaborative mindset.

What is your role?

Imagine helping dairy farmers around the world get the most out of the digital solutions that support their daily operations. As a Digital Operations Center Specialist, you are the link between the field and product development. You work on complex technical issues that reach beyond standard support questions and turn insights from real-life usage into product improvements that make a difference.

You join the Digital Operations Center (DOC), a team with end-to-end service responsibility for Lely’s digital products. From the PC on the farm to cloud platforms in Azure, you help ensure that our digital products remain secure, reliable, and ready for the future. You work closely with colleagues from regional offices and Product Development across the globe, giving you a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of products such as Lely Horizon.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing third-line support for digital products such as Lely Horizon.
• Investigating complex technical issues by gathering information from the field and analysing root causes.
• Testing scenarios and validating solutions to improve product performance and stability.
• Collaborating with product specialists and product developers to translate technical findings into product improvements.
• Supporting colleagues from Lely offices worldwide with technical expertise and guidance.
• Building strong international relationships through occasional visits to Lely locations abroad.

What is your experience?

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working together with others to create lasting improvements. You combine analytical thinking with a proactive mindset and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to innovative digital solutions for the agricultural sector.

Additionally, you bring the following:

• Bachelor’s level working and thinking ability, gained through education or experience in a technical or IT-related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience within IT focused on application support.
• Experience with database systems such as SQL.
• A proactive approach and an open, collaborative mindset.
• Residence in the Netherlands with a valid work permit, sponsorship is not possible for this role.
• Willingness to participate in the 24/7 hotline rotation after completing the onboarding period (approximately one day every nine days).
