Job summary

DEKRA Rail is seeking a Functional Application Manager to ensure our global IT environments run smoothly and effectively. You will act as the bridge between users, IT specialists and developers, translating needs into clear requirements and guiding changes.

Responsibilities include supporting multiple business applications, investigating incidents, managing access rights, and coordinating requests. You will work with colleagues worldwide to drive continuous improvement and long-term stability.

• Manage user authorizations and access rights.
• Identify recurring issues and analyse underlying causes.
• Coordinate support requests and keep users informed throughout the process.
• Translate user needs into clear requirements for developers.
• Test application changes and perform regression testing.
• Work closely with international colleagues, IT specialists, and development teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business applications and processes.
