We are seeking an Application Management Specialist to help build a newly formed Application Center team-starting from the ground up. This is more than just a technical role. It's an opportunity to become the first key player in a pilot initiative that will define how enterprise applications are managed, updated, and supported across an international organization.

As an Application Management Specialist, you''ll oversee the end-to-end management of business-critical applications across various platforms (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS). You''ll not only manage technical aspects but also contribute to establishing best practices and refining operational processes.

A great full-time position in Amsterdam for the period of 11 months. The start date for this assignment is as soon as possible. The salary for this position is between €4500 - €5,800 bruto per month. Are you interested? Let''s connect!

Responsibilities

Take technical ownership of widely-used enterprise client applications;
Monitor and stay informed about application developments and updates;
Initiate and coordinate application update requests; provide clear instructions for deployment and configuration;
Conduct thorough testing and approve application packages before deployment;
Develop roll-out plans and collaborate closely with deployment teams to ensure smooth releases;
Serve as the primary technical contact and provide 3rd-line support within the team''s scope;
Liaise with stakeholders including Security, Packaging, Deployment teams, and vendors;
Support Incident, Problem, and Change processes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME);
Document best practices, contribute to continuous process improvements, and help shape the long-term model for the Application Center.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with hands-on expertise in enterprise application management across multiple device types;
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for functional application issues in enterprise environments;
Solid understanding of application lifecycle management processes;
Familiarity with Microsoft tools (e.g., Intune) is an advantage;
Good grasp of IT security principles and practices;
Proficient in English, both written and spoken;
Confident communicator with the ability to manage conflicts, resolve issues, and align diverse stakeholders;
Comfortable operating in an evolving setup and able to influence cross-functional teams;
Proven ability to work independently, set priorities, and deliver results.
