Job summary

Aptean is seeking a Technical Application Implementation Consultant for Patch OEE to help manufacturers improve performance by translating business needs into software solutions. You’ll manage implementations from requirements gathering through go-live and ongoing support, becoming a product expert for customers worldwide.

This hybrid role requires 3+ years in software implementation, strong communication and problem-solving, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in software implementation or a technical customer-facing role.
• Fluent Dutch and English both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with B2B SaaS or manufacturing software is a plus.

• Manage customer implementations from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training and go-live.
• Translate customer needs into Patch OEE solutions and deliver demos and training.
• Coordinate 4–6 implementation projects concurrently, typically 8–10 weeks each.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues using data, logs, and SQL where relevant.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve issues and feed improvements.
• Build product knowledge and advise customers on maximizing value from Patch OEE.
• Provide ongoing post-go-live support and drive adoption with customers.

Technical Application Implementation Consultant – Patch OEE

About the role

As a Technical Application Implementation Consultant for Patch OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), you’ll help manufacturing customers improve their performance by translating business and operational needs into effective software solutions.

You’ll manage implementations from requirements gathering and configuration through training, go-live and ongoing support. Combining customer interaction with technical problem-solving, you’ll become a product expert and trusted advisor to customers worldwide.

The role is hybrid, with2–3 days per week in our Sassenheim office, and includes occasional travel to customer sites internationally.

What you’ll do

• Manage customer implementations from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training and go-live.
• Understand customers’ operational challenges and translate them into practical Patch OEE solutions.
• Manage approximately 4–6 implementation projects simultaneously, typically lasting 8–10 weeks.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues using application data, configuration, logs and, where relevant, SQL.
• Deliver product demonstrations and customer training, including Train-the-Trainer sessions.
• Build strong product knowledge and advise customers on how to get the most value from Patch OEE.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to resolve issues and share customer feedback.
• Contribute to improvements in the product, implementation methods and customer support processes.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software implementation, application support or a similar technical customer-facing role, ideally within B2B SaaS.
• Strong customer communication, consulting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into software solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.

Experience with manufacturing software, OEE, production environments or Food & Beverage is an advantage.

Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, application servers, Microsoft Azure and scripting such as PowerShell or Python is also beneficial, but not essential. Technical aptitude, curiosity and willingness to learn are just as important.
