Job summary

Telespazio BeNeLux, with ESTEC in the Netherlands, seeks an AOCS Systems and Pointing Support Engineer to support AOCS requirements, analyses, and verification across ESA projects. The role requires eligibility for EU security clearance and relocation to the Netherlands, with on-site and hybrid activities.

You will work on AOCS system concepts, simulation modelling, and machine learning applications to AOCS, while coordinating with ESA staff and project teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in control engineering and/or aerospace engineering and/or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Define AOCS requirements and contribute to System/Mission Requirements for AOCS.
• Analyze AOCS systems, software, and hardware units.
• Perform AOCS and Pointing performance analyses and budgeting.
• Monitor design development activities for AOCS hardware/software.
• Review project documentation across project lifetime in AOCS/Pointing.
• Develop and maintain engineering support tools for AOCS tasks.
• Support procurement of AOCS hardware units and participate in hardware reviews.
• Assist verification and validation across project phases.
• Provide AOCS expertise to AIT/AIV and in-flight activities (LEOP, commissioning).
• Contribute to FDIR definition and verification.
