Android Developer – Ecommerce International Giant – Amsterdam

One of the world’s largest ecommerce ticketing companies requires an Android Developer to help build and develop their existing products. As an Android Developer, you’ll play a key role in how fans discover, buy, and experience events on mobile. You’ll work on meaningful product challenges and ship features that reach millions of users around the world.

You’ll join a cross-functional product team where engineers, product managers, and designers work closely together. You’ll take ownership, move fast, and help shape the mobile experience end-to-end.

• Build and improve features across our Android app used by millions of fans
• Collaborate closely with backend, web, and mobile engineers in a cross-functional squad
• Take ownership of features from idea to release and iteration
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve the codebase
• Balance speed and quality to deliver value without over-engineering
• Work with data and experimentation to improve user experience
• Partner with product and design to create intuitive, high-quality user journeys
• Share knowledge and learnings within the Android and mobile guild
• Stay up to date with new technologies and bring ideas to improve how we work
• Contribute to a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement

Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, Firebase, GitHub, Sentry, Lokalise and standard testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit. We continuously evolve our stack to stay effective and up to date.

About you

• We’re looking for someone who enjoys building great products and takes pride in their craft.
• You have solid experience building Android applications with Kotlin

• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, or analytics tools is a plus
• You use AI in your everyday job, or you used it on some personal project
• Interest in product metrics or growth is a bonus
• You’re based in The Netherlands, are an EU resident, or have an existing visa to work here (a relocation package isn’t available)

The position is mostly remote with 1 day a week (or less) in the Amsterdam office. This role offers €84,500. Including holiday allowance.
