Job summary

Ventula Consulting in the Netherlands is seeking an Android Engineer to develop and evolve features across the client’s scalable mobile app, contributing to the evolution of their digital ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ship features end-to-end in an agile setup.

The role involves owning features from concept to release, shaping architecture, and collaborating with backend, web, and mobile engineers.

Job description

Leading e-commerce client now requires an Android Engineer to support in developing their scalable mobile application, contributing towards the evolution of their digital ecosystem.

This role work closely with cross functional teams to ship features on an end-to-end basis.

The role:

• Own features from concept to release and iteration.

• Shape architecture and help evolve our codebase.
• Use data and experimentation to improve the user experience.
• Partner with product and design on intuitive user journeys.

Key Requirements:

• Solid experience building Android apps with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, Firebase, GitHub, Sentry, Lokalise, Espresso, Junit.
• Comfortable in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
• A strong communicator who collaborates easily with non-technical team members.
• Curious, ownership-driven, and eager to make a real impact.
• Experience with A/B testing and analytics.

In terms of working structure, this role is hybrid with occasional days in their Amsterdam office.
