Overview

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to strengthen our client’s mobile development team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in building high-traffic B2C apps and thrives in a dynamic e-commerce environment. You will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of mobile solutions that impact thousands of users every day.

Candidate Profile

We are specifically interested in candidates who:

• Have been working in the Netherlands for at least 2 years (familiar with Dutch/European working culture).
• Bring hands-on experience in e-commerce or other high-traffic consumer applications.
• Possess in-house/company experience (not exclusively via agencies or consultancies).
• Are passionate about creating scalable, user-friendly Android applications.
• Communicate effectively in English (Dutch is a plus).

Key Skills & Experience

• Solid experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose UI and modern Android development frameworks.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Strong background in CI/CD, automated testing, and app performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Bonus: exposure to payment systems, logistics, or marketplace apps.
