Job summary

Tiqets, a Netherlands-headquartered tech scale-up, is hiring an Analytics Engineer in Amsterdam to guard and improve our data ecosystem. You will design, build, and maintain dbt models and Looker dashboards, ensuring high-quality, governed data for analytics and BI across teams.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders to align modeling standards, governance, and cost efficiency while supporting AI-adoption initiatives in our data platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data or Analytics Engineer on data-intensive applications.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tool.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models powering behavioral analytics and event-tracking pipelines.
• Build and explore dashboards in Looker to enable data-driven decisions.
• Dive into large datasets to uncover insights and turn them into hypotheses.
• Collaborate with product, developers, marketers, and commercial teams to measure key metrics.
• Improve data infrastructure, governance, and data model architecture.
