Job summary

Tiqets is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join its data platform and help govern data quality across the organization. You will design, build, and maintain dbt models powering behavioral analytics and the event-tracking pipeline, processing high-volume clickstream data daily.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Product/Business stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and impactful insights. Amsterdam-based role in a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data or Analytics Engineer on data-intensive applications.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Proven track record with a modern cloud data warehouse (Databricks/Redshift/Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tool.
• Proficiency in Python and BI tooling like Looker.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Based in the Netherlands/EU or able to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models with SQL in DBT.
• Build explores and dashboards in Looker to empower teams to ask the right questions.
• Dive into large datasets to uncover insights and turn them into actionable hypotheses.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and Commercial Teams to measure key metrics.
• Maintain data quality, governance, and scalable data infrastructure.
• Educate and mentor teammates; contribute to documentation and best practices.
• Support architectural evolution of Tiqets data models and reporting framework.
