Job summary

Bioswifttalent in Leiden, NL is seeking an Analytical Scientist to join the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) team. The role focuses on the development, manufacturing, and characterization of oligonucleotides and therapeutic formulations for research, clinical development, and commercialization.

You will design and validate analytical methods, troubleshoot assays, and contribute to formulation development, SOPs, and reporting.

Qualifications

• PhD with 1–3 years of experience or Master’s with at least 7 years of experience.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as UPLC/HPLC, mass spectrometry, DLS, absorbance or fluorescence-based assays, compendial methods.
• Experience working with lipid-based formulations.
• Strong laboratory skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with statistics.

Our client's Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC) department are seeking an analytical scientist to join their team. The CMC department plays a pivotal role within the organization, focusing on the development, manufacturing, and characterization of oligonucleotides and therapeutic formulations for research, clinical development, and commercialization.

The Role:

The Scientist Analytical will support the in-house activities of the Analytical team within the CMC department. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other analysts/scientists in an interdisciplinary team environment to advance activities related to oligonucleotide production, formulation, and analysis. Responsibilities include:

• Development and validation of analytical methods
• Troubleshooting analytical methods
• Formulation development
