Job summary

Genmab is seeking a Scientist in Analytical Method Development (AMD) to develop and qualify analytical assays supporting antibody-based therapeutics. The role combines hands-on method development with scientific oversight and cross-functional coordination in a global biotech setting.

You will guide researchers, ensure regulatory-ready data, and contribute to advancing analytical capabilities for next-generation antibodies. This temporary 12-month position is based in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

PhD in biochemistry, protein chemistry, analytical sciences or related field (or MSc with relevant experience).
Experience with protein analysis in CMC/biotherapeutics environments is preferred.
Hands-on expertise in CE-SDS, icIEF, HPLC and absorbance spectroscopy.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for capillary electrophoresis, CE-SDS, icIEF and HPLC techniques.
Provide scientific oversight of assay development, qualification, and transfer per ICH guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers, DPD, and external partners to deliver high-quality data and reports.
Review complex analytical data and translate findings into clear conclusions and reports.
Plan and prioritize work packages within cross-functional teams to meet deliverables.
