Doghouse Recruitment seeks a Trading Software Engineer in Amsterdam specializing in C++ and Rust for high-frequency trading infrastructure. You will design and build low-latency connectivity to exchanges, process market data, and help evolve FPGA/ hardware strategies while collaborating across teams.

You must have 5+ years in software engineering, strong C++ (4+ yrs) and/or Rust, and experience with low-latency systems, Agile, and containerized deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with low-latency, parallel and/or distributed systems
• Full SDLC experience and comfort with Agile and sprint planning

Responsabilités

• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and performance improvements
• Support containerized deployments (Kubernetes) in production
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Poker, Retrospectives)
