Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. is seeking a test and integration engineer to execute end-to-end testing of airport systems in factory and on-site environments.

You will develop test plans, configure test environments, and analyze results to ensure robust integration of mechanical, controls, software and IT components. The role requires a degree in engineering or related field, strong testing methodology expertise, and about 60% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge and structured testing methods.
• Analytical problem solver with a system-level view.
• Clear English communication.
• Willingness to travel ~60% of the time.
• Experience with industrial automation and PLCs.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification.
• Experience with automated test tools or test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration, system, and customer acceptance tests in factory and on-site environments.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test procedures based on system design, customer requirements, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and configure test environments and test tooling.
• Analyse test results, identify root causes, and verify solutions.
• Support the integration of mechanical, controls, software, and IT components into a single operational system.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the integration and testing phases.
• Monitor progress, document results, and report findings.
• Contribute to the successful handover of systems into operational use.
