Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. is seeking a testing and integration specialist within the IT & Integration department. You will execute tests across factory and on-site environments, developing plans and configuring test environments to ensure system integrity.

You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and customers, analyze results, and contribute to successful handover of complex systems in international airports and logistics projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Automation, IT, Logistics, or related field.
• Understand systems engineering principles and structured testing methodologies.
• Analytical problem solver with a system-level perspective.
• English communication clearly and confidently.
• Travel up to ~60% depending on project phases.
• Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, software integration, or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with automated test tools or test management tools.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration, system, and customer acceptance tests in factory and on-site environments.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test procedures based on system design and risk assessments.
• Prepare and configure test environments and test tooling.
• Analyse test results, identify root causes, and verify solutions.
• Support integration of mechanical, controls, software, and IT components into a single system.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders with clear communication.
• Monitor progress, document results, and report findings.
• Contribute to handover of systems into operational use.
