KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is seeking an experienced Engine Mechanic in Schiphol. You will disassemble engines, inspect components, determine replacements, consult specialists when needed, and prepare units for shipment.

You will also supervise new colleagues, sharing your expertise to help them work independently as quickly as possible. You will test for internal damage, work with several engine types, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Competenze

• At least three years of experience as an engine mechanic.
• Familiar with engine types CFM56-7B, CF6, GEnx and LEAP.
• Authorized to perform maintenance on aircraft engines.
• Speak and understand technical English well.

Mansioni

• Disassemble engines, inspect components and decide replacements and materials.
• Consult with a specialist when needed and verify deliveries against the module.
• Prepare repaired engines for shipment and supervise new colleagues.
• Teach juniors in the department and ensure they can work independently.
• Report daily to the team lead and lead mechanic and perform admin tasks.
