Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Utrecht is seeking an AI Architect to lead architecture and transformation initiatives for clients. You will shape AI strategies, design scalable architectures, and deliver measurable business value across hybrid engagements.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology, guiding organizations through AI adoption while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in consulting, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience designing and delivering AI, Generative AI, and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini, or equivalent AI ecosystems.
• Proven track record in business development within a consulting environment.
• Experience with modern AI architectures, including RAG, AI agents, vector search, orchestration frameworks, and LLM integration.
• Strong understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Experience managing complex transformation programs and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-enabled transformation for client engagements.
• Design and deliver AI-powered solutions that enhance customer experiences, increase operational efficiency, and enable new business models.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture.
• Own the architecture of complex AI and digital transformation initiatives, from strategy and business case development through implementation and adoption.
• Act as a trusted advisor.
• Build strong relationships with clients and advise executives and senior stakeholders on AI strategy, emerging technologies, and digital innovation.
• Collaborate across disciplines.
• Work closely with consultants, designers, data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
