Job summary

Adaptfy is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team in Amsterdam. The role focuses on developing and refining AI solutions across the lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment, with exposure to RAG, LLMs, and knowledge management.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in software engineering or data AI roles, solid Python skills, and familiarity with Git. Fluency in English and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data science, data engineering, AI, or related technical field.
• Basic to intermediate programming skills in at least one modern language; Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and basic software engineering practices.
• Some hands-on exposure to LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, or generative AI projects.
• Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of AI solutions from prototyping to deployment.
• Work with data teams to prepare data foundations for AI use cases, including data sources and knowledge bases.
• Assist in prompts, context strategies, and techniques to improve AI performance.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI use cases and workflows.
• Research and experiment with new AI models and tools, sharing findings with the team.
• Contribute to development and testing of AI agents and orchestration workflows.
• Document AI solutions, prompts, experiments, and learnings for knowledge sharing.
• Monitor AI solutions and implement improvements based on feedback.
