Nextens is seeking an AI Software Engineer to expand AI capabilities across its tax-focused product ecosystem. You will contribute to AI-powered tax assistants, generative AI features, workflow automation, and AI-driven fiscal insights.

This medior role involves independent tasks, close collaboration with senior engineers and domain experts, and growing AI expertise while delivering practical product value.

Competenze

• Experience as a software engineer, AI engineer, data engineer, or similar role.
• Strong Python skills for backend, data-driven, automation, or AI components.
• Familiarity with LLM patterns: RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompts, structured outputs.

Mansioni

• Build and improve AI-powered product features (assistants, RAG, workflows, insights).
• Develop AI components: ingestion, retrieval, prompt orchestration, monitoring hooks.
• Collaborate with tax/domain experts to ensure accurate, explainable AI outputs.
• Evaluate AI systems by reviewing model behavior, feedback, and production signals.
• Work with product/frontend/engineering to translate AI capabilities into usable experiences.
• Operate within AWS AI-DLC, balancing automation with human-reviewed decisions.
