Job summary

LexisNexis Special Services Inc. is hiring an AI Software Engineer in Amsterdam to build AI-powered features for tax-focused products.

You will work on RAG-enabled assistants, AI-driven insights and workflow automation, primarily with Python backend services and APIs, while collaborating with tax experts and frontend teams. We emphasize practical AI delivery, data privacy, and responsible AI; familiarity with AWS AI-DLC and optional C#, .NET, Angular, or TypeScript is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as software or AI engineer with backend focus.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings and structured outputs.
• Awareness of evaluation, monitoring, and secure development.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI features including assistants and RAG capabilities.
• Develop data ingestion, retrieval, prompt orchestration and monitoring hooks.
• Collaborate with tax/domain experts to ensure accurate outputs and useful user experiences.
• Support evaluation and improvement of AI systems with tests and production signals.
