Job summary

Nextens is seeking a Product/UX Designer to shape AI-powered experiences for tax, accounting and finance. You will own end-to-end design from research to rapid prototypes, testing with customers and turning ideas into real product.

This is an AI-native role, not pure UI; you’ll design for professional users, collaborate with product, engineering and domain experts, and keep exploring how AI changes workflows as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• Strong product, UX and interaction design fundamentals.
• View customer discovery and research as a core part of the job.
• Ability to turn rough ideas into testable prototypes.
• Experience using AI tools and workflows in design.
• Interest in AI-enabled professional software experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences for AI-powered products in tax, accounting and finance.
• Conduct customer discovery and UX research to understand real problems and needs.
• Translate complex professional workflows into simple, intuitive experiences.
• Rapidly prototype and experiment with new concepts using AI-powered tools.
• Put prototypes in front of customers early and iterate based on feedback.
• Combine customer research, qualitative insights and product data to guide decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, engineers and domain experts.
• Design interactions where users trust and effectively work with AI.
• Create onboarding, interaction patterns and UX copy for complex features.
• Facilitate workshops and share design thinking with the team.
• Stay curious and adapt as AI tech and expectations evolve.
