Job summary

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform and seeks an AI Science Writer based in the EU for an ongoing contract with a fixed monthly retainer. You may come from AI/ML research, engineering, or journalism and should translate technical papers into clear, engaging stories.

You will produce weekly reviews of new AI models and architectures, identify genuinely new work, and explain it across formats with visual elements. Growth opportunities include transition to a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Professional or academic AI/ML research experience.
• Editorial experience with technical content.
• Ability to read papers and explain methods clearly.

Responsibilities

• Produce scientific and technical reviews of new AI models, architectures, papers, in-house research and trends.
• Turn model architectures and complex ideas into clear visual narratives with infographics and charts.
• Interview researchers, engineers, founders, and scientific leaders.
• Cover major research conferences and debates across the AI ecosystem.
• Write, edit, and adapt content across analytical reports, features, interviews, explainers, newsletters, and scripts.
• Host or moderate research webinars, interviews, and on-camera formats.
• Verify technical claims with researchers while preserving editorial voice.
• Collaborate with designers and multimedia producers on visual stories.
• Experiment with models, agents, coding, and automation to improve workflows.
