Job summary

NN Netherlands is seeking an experienced AI Business Translator to bridge mortgage operations and AI capabilities. You will identify AI opportunities, shape use cases, and ensure AI solutions deliver real value in practice by translating needs into clear requirements and guiding initiatives from idea to adoption.

In this senior role, you will lead AI in mortgage processes and customer journeys, co-design solutions with engineering teams and users, and own the last mile of AI implementation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-5 years in business analysis, process improvement, product management, digital transformation, or consulting within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Experience at the intersection of business and technology across domains.
• Ability to lead shaping of complex use cases from problem definition to adoption and impact.
• Ability to translate processes into clear, practical requirements including data mapping and AI orchestration design.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to align across teams without formal authority.
• Dutch language proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and shape AI opportunities with Product Owners, business teams and process experts.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear AI use cases and success criteria.
• Translate business processes into clear requirements for agentic solutions, including data mapping and AI orchestration.
• Provide input for prioritisation based on value, feasibility and strategic alignment.
• Design AI-enabled workflows, define what AI handles vs. human judgment and set acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate end-user involvement, testing, implementation and adoption of AI-enabled workflows.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance and risk requirements with second line of defence.
• Track and communicate business value (time, quality, throughput, customer impact, employee experience).
• Drive continuous improvement and scaling of successful AI solutions.
• Act as sparring partner for Product Owners and delivery teams on AI application.
