Job summary

Amazon AWS in Amsterdam is seeking a senior AI/ML leader to drive end-to-end engagements from strategic planning to pre-production deployment and optimisation. You will architect advanced solutions with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker, and provide mentorship across delivery teams.

You will translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and drive best practices and reusable methodologies within a fast-growing cloud practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent cloud-based solution experience.
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with object oriented languages.
• Experience in data and machine learning engineering and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience building complex, highly-scalable systems with predictive models or ML applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML engagements from strategy to deployment and optimization.
• Architect and implement AI/ML solutions using AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants across delivery teams.
• Translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes and clear delivery roadmaps.
• Drive innovation in applied AI/ML and contribute to reusable methodologies.
• Influence customer AI strategy through technical expertise and industry insights.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate stakeholders to deliver high-impact AI solutions.
• Provide thought leadership in internal and external engagements.
• Support pre-sales activities with technical review of scoping and risks.
