Job summary

o9 Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Solution Architect to join our Amsterdam team.

You will drive the design and delivery of advanced supply chain planning solutions, transforming data into insights and scalable workflows across global client engagements. You will lead data collection, model building, and platform design, working with Architects to create robust functional and technical designs, while mentoring junior analysts and delivering training to a worldwide user base.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing supply chain planning solutions or in supply chain/logistics.
• Experience presenting on complex topics clearly and concisely.
• Experience with planning systems and ERP tools.
• Leading a team through full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation including requirements gathering, solution design & development, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover, and value realization.
• Experience using Agile methodologies to deliver large scale enterprise implementations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in process and business requirements sessions and document to-be processes leveraging industry best practices.
• Identify and collect data such as historical sales, shipments, inventory, logistics, and other operations data from sources like databases, Excel sheets, emails, and others.
• Ability to convert business logic to technical platform design, including knowledge of platform infrastructure.
• Work closely with Architects and Directors to develop clear functional and technical designs and document data requirements and build complex datasets.
• Configure technical specifications and tool configurations in the o9 platform as per the design to solve deep operations/supply chain problems and institute performance monitoring.
• Use mathematical models, predictive methods, statistical techniques, optimization algorithms and simulations to analyze large enterprise data and provide insights and data visualization to client management.
• Proficient in statistical and optimization tools and programming languages to conduct data integration through ETL and create models to generate time series forecasts and operational plans.
• Collaborate with Internal R&D to resolve solution gaps and deploy fixes.
• Create and execute workflow/data analytics test-cases and track issues to resolution.
• Design a testing protocol and implement with Junior Analysts to automate testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure successful planning/execution of projects.
• Plan, develop and deliver Super User/End User training for a global user base.
• Mentor Junior Analysts on technical and business aspects of projects.
