Job summary

The Sharing Group seeks an experienced BI Architect to design and build an AI-first BI foundation from the ground up, collaborating with a junior BI Specialist and stakeholders to define architecture and trusted models. You'll set up Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt, translate data into usable business entities, and deliver an initial set of end-to-end pipelines, dashboards, and an AI-ready semantic layer.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building a BI/analytics platform from scratch.
• Strong data architecture, modelling and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Fivetran and dbt.
• Proven ability to translate business concepts into clear, testable definitions for KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the new BI foundation end-to-end.
• Assess source systems and current Tableau environment.
• Create a target BI architecture and data warehouse design.
• Establish pipelines for databases, events, APIs and SaaS.
• Define governed business definitions and KPIs.
• Deliver AI-ready analytics and anomaly detection proof of concept.
• Transfer knowledge to the junior BI Specialist.
