Job summary

BridgeFund is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own our central data foundation, turning high-level business goals into robust, production-ready data models in Databricks. You’ll enable analytics, modeling and AI use cases and act as the technical bridge between analysts, data scientists and platform engineers.

In this role you lead requirements sessions with Finance and Product, translate ambiguous needs into scalable pipelines, and help define a single source of truth and consistent

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Production-level experience with SQL, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Databricks (or PySpark) and data modeling frameworks.
• Ability to translate high-level goals into robust, production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex, production-grade data models in Databricks (Gold layer) focused on performance, reliability, and reusability.
• Lead requirements sessions with business stakeholders (Finance, Product) and liaise with Platform and AI engineering teams.
• Solve live and historical data integration challenges to eliminate conflicting metrics across systems.
• Model data from CDC sources to capture full audit histories and change records.
• Build automated quality checks, monitoring dashboards, and alerting systems; enforce naming conventions and Unity Catalog tagging.
• Define uniform metrics and align definitions across the business to resolve inconsistencies.
• Champion software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
